The Top 5 Keys For Network Marketing

Oftentimes, people find themselves stuck in a rut and can’t seem to find the right path to a successful business. Network Marketing is one of those businesses that greatly relies on growth in order for it to be a profitable business. But it is the wrong approach and the lack of a proper presentation which usually turns people off about network marketing. Here’s the top 5 keys for network marketing,  proven strategies to take your business to the next level of success!

One of the key things to keep in mind is to keep your business SIMPLE! When presenting your business to others, try to avoid getting into too much detail by overloading people with too much information. This the wrong way to present your business and chances are people will not be interested.

Simplicity in explaining your business to others makes it easier for them to digest what it is you are presenting to them. In fact, the less you explain on the details, the more questions they will have about the business. Eventually, they will be so interested and will want to learn more about your business, resulting in a faster growth of your business.

Top 5 keys for network marketing  to help you Develop a Successful Business:

1. Initial Contact

Once you get started in the business, make sure that one of the first things you do is compile a list of at least 200 contacts. These resources can be either leads, vendors, resources, or friends. Divide your list into two: “warm contacts”, which are people you know personally, and “cold contacts” who are people who you don’t know personally, but can provide you with the database that you need.

When you start talking to your contacts, try to make sure the whole conversation goes as casually as possible. Avoid dumping on them the whole idea that the business is Network Marketing and that it would be great if they could join it with you. Instead, try finding out these four things from them just through simple conversation:

What are their needs?

What are their strengths?

What are their goals?

What is the connection between you, them and the business opportunity?

The idea is to get them talking about themselves – what they want in life, what they don’t like about their current situation, if they feel they are where they imagined themselves to be at this point in their lives, etc. After listening to them and taking note of the four important points, explain how the company can help them achieve those needs and desires. They have needs, wants and desire that you can fulfill!

2. Business Presentation

The real purpose of a business presentation is to explain all the details of the business that you didn’t want to explain during the initial contact. It is usually a scripted out presentation that takes care of all the “telling and selling” of the business. The business presentation explains the industry, the product, the service, how it works, and should not last for more than 45 minutes.

The business presentation should NEVER be done during the initial contact, nor should it be repeated after the first business presentation attended by your prospect. The goal of the business presentation is to create an eager want in the prospect and to get them started in the business. The presentation can be conducted via live presentation, conference calls, webcasts, one on one, or private group meetings.

3. Follow Up and Close

Get in touch with the people who you brought to the presentation, and ask them “how did you like about what you just heard?”. Similar to initial contact, try asking them questions about how they feel about the business instead of asking them flatly “Are you going to join? Should I sign you up?”

You are actually doing them a favor by asking your prospects the right questions, by truly listening to how they feel and what they want to achieve by joining the business. You are helping them by offering them a chance to reach their dreams. That is the main idea. It’s not about selling them the product.

4. Training

When the prospect is ready to join the business, take them to basic training. This way, they can learn about all the products, how to make initial contacts, what to say and not say to people, getting people interested in attending the business presentation, teach them how to tell stories, etc.

The whole purpose of making them undergo training, is you want to duplicate yourself in them. You want them to be as knowledgeable about the business as you are. You will want them to share the same ideas that not only is it a business or a recruitment, but it is a way to help people achieve their dreams. Always keep the training simple and you will duplicate quickly.

5. Development of Leadership

Leadership is what builds a solid foundation for long-term businesses. It is not something that you can expect to learn in a training seminar alone. Leadership is about being committed to the business and how influential you are to people. It is about how you step up and make things happen. Leadership is repeating steps 1-4 over and over again.

Many businesses often fail because people get complacent and expect others to do their work for them. They don’t make the effort to lead and become an example. Hard work and perseverance almost always lead to success. Just follow these top 5 keys for network marketing, and you are guaranteed to reach your goals!
